Nobody likes doing the dishes.
Make the blender work hard to clean itself.
Just fill the blender with water, squeeze in some soap, and blend! Start off at a slow speed and then work the blender up to full power. Let the soapy water swirl around for fifteen or more seconds.
After you’ve stopped the blender, rinse the container and lid in the sink. If there are any stubborn bits of food stuck to the side you may need to use a scrubbing brush to scrape them away. After you’ve rinsed the container and the lid, place them upside down in a drying rack to let them air dry.
If only it were so easy to clean the rest of my dishes and kitchen appliances…
